African Cocoyam per kilo
Cocoyam can be prepared in the same way as potatoes, boiled in salt water, and also suitable for roasting or frying. It takes a long time to cook, but it is also more nutritious than a potato. The roots contain about 70% water and 25% starch, perfect as an addition to meat dishes or as stews, soups or chili. Will keep for up to five months if stored cool and dry.
